Heros Cherkoyan vs Cuba Joaquim

Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Derby Arena, Derby,  taking place on 24/01/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Orthodox Man Heros Cherkoyan (11(10) - 0) who hails from Yerevan, Armenia and Cuba Joaquim(47(41) - 16(13)) from Manaus, Brazil.  Both Cherkoyan and Joaquim weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Owen Wallace, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Couch, Dave Adcock and Owen Saunders.  

Round 1: 

Cherkoyan gets on the inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Cherkoyan lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Cherkoyan attempts to land a jab, but Joaquim sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Cherkoyan lands a left uppercut, cross and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Cherkoyan throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Cherkoyan lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Cherkoyan throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Cherkoyan lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Joaquim is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a jab, but Cherkoyan slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Cherkoyan closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cherkoyan closes the distance.  Cherkoyan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, DROPPING JOAQUIM TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Joaquim quickly recovers. 
Cherkoyan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cherkoyan drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Cherkoyan attempts to land a cross, but Joaquim slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Cherkoyan steps inside.  Cherkoyan pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.

Cherkoyan manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Cherkoyan lands with a stinging jab.  Cherkoyan tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.

Cherkoyan pivots from in front of his opponent and DETONATES a SAVAGE cross on his opponents face.  JOAQUIM WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Joaquim recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Cherkoyan pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cherkoyan advances into close range.  Joaquim drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  Joaquim throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Joaquim connects with a solid right hook.  Joaquim throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a MASSIVE right hook.  JOAQUIM WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Cherkoyan sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Cherkoyan lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head, AND DROPS JOAQUIM!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Joaquim now seems to have his senses back.

Joaquim walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Cherkoyan lands a spiteful jab.  
Cherkoyan digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  Cherkoyan throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Cherkoyan's liver.
