Daniel MacIver vs Jordan Nolan

Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at Our Ladys Hall, Dublin,  taking place on 28/01/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Daniel MacIver (3(2) - 0) who hails from Tallaght, Ireland and Jordan Nolan(4 - 4(1) - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both MacIver and Nolan weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Karl Leary, and the three ringside judges are Dan McCorquodale, Karl Finnegan and Michael Dillon.  

Round 1: 

MacIver is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

MacIver ties up his opponent.  MacIver is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures MacIver about fouling.  
MacIver tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
MacIver steps inside and is on target with a stinging right hook.  MacIver throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
MacIver lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  MacIver clinches his opponent.  MacIver leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. MacIver uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Nolan's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
MacIver is on target with a firm left uppercut to Nolan's body.  
Nolan hits home with a cross.  
MacIver advances into close range and lands a left uppercut.  
Nolan pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.

MacIver manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  MacIver pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a firm left hook.  
MacIver lands a mean left uppercut.  NOLAN IS HURT!  Nolan quickly recovers. 
MacIver lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
MacIver gets on the inside and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nolan's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Nolan's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Nolan's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Nolan's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

MacIver lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  MacIver clinches his opponent.  MacIver leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. MacIver uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Nolan's kidney. MacIver uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Nolan behind the head. 
MacIver attempts to land a jab, but Nolan slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
MacIver sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook.  
MacIver lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  MacIver ties up his opponent.  MacIver tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Nolan behind the head. 
MacIver attempts to land a left hook, but Nolan blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
MacIver digs in a left uppercut to Nolan's ribs.  MacIver attempts to land a left hook, but Nolan parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
MacIver walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  MacIver lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  MacIver attempts to land a right hook, but Nolan blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
MacIver closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Nolan quickly recovers. 
MacIver pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a potent left uppercut to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES NOLAN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
MacIver steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  MacIver holds on to his opponent.  MacIver is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
MacIver crashes a big right uppercut to Nolan's body.  NOLAN IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Nolan now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
MacIver manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  MacIver EXPLODES a DEVASTATING right hook into his opponents face.  NOLAN IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF IMMEDIATELY WAVES OFF THE FIGHT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is MacIver!
