Niall Kavanagh vs Paul Sheridan

Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 11/02/2045:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Niall Kavanagh (4(2) - 0) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Paul Sheridan(14 - 7(2) - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  Kavanagh weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces, while Sheridan weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Karl Leary, and the three ringside judges are Lee Beirne, Lewis MacNevin and Fionn Healy.

Kavanagh holds on to his opponent.  Sheridan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Sheridan almost instantly recovers.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sheridan's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Sheridan's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Sheridan's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Sheridan is clearly losing his cool here!   He turns Kavanagh and throws an uppercut into his opponents groin area!  The ref separates the two fighters and tells Sheridan to keep his punches up.  He gives Kavanagh a few minutes to recover.  
Kavanagh tries to keep the action at long range and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SHERIDAN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Sheridan cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Kavanagh!
