Kian Cleland vs Clinton Curran

Boxing Daily Report from the Alhassan Promotions promoted show at Perth Cochrane, Perth,  taking place on 18/01/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kian Cleland (5 - 2 - 1) who hails from Perth, Australia and Clinton Curran(16 - 10(8) - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Both Cleland and Curran weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraser Trimble, and the three ringside judges are Leeroy Babinski, Vincent Dykes and Vince Kelty.  

Round 1: 

Curran advances into close range and hits home with a right hook.  
Curran pivots to the side of his opponent.  Curran throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cleland tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.
