Ramiro Nuncio vs Montenegro Medeiros

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Bahia promoted show at Loredo Nery Gym, Salvador,  taking place on 19/01/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Bahia Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ramiro Nuncio (8 - 17 - 1) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Montenegro Medeiros(18(10) - 5(1)) from Salvador, Brazil.  Both Nuncio and Medeiros weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Pimentel, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Moraes, Orlando Medeiros and Venacio Amparo.  

Round 1: 

Medeiros throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Medeiros holds on to his opponent.  Medeiros leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Medeiros is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Medeiros and breaks the clinch.  
Nuncio throws a left uppercut, but Medeiros clinches his opponent.  Medeiros is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Medeiros lands a sharp right hook.  Medeiros clinches his opponent.  Medeiros leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Medeiros's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Medeiros lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Medeiros steps inside and forces Nuncio to retreat into the red corner.  Medeiros lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS NUNCIO TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Nuncio could be stopped here, if Medeiros can find the right shot!  Medeiros crashes a spiteful left uppercut to Nuncio's liver.  NUNCIO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Medeiros lands a solid right hook.  Nuncio now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Medeiros whips in a mean left hook to Nuncio's body.  NUNCIO IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Medeiros holds on to his opponent.  Medeiros is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Medeiros lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Medeiros steps inside and digs in a right hook to Nuncio's ribs.  
Medeiros advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Medeiros cuts off the ring, trapping Nuncio on the ropes.  Medeiros senses Nuncio is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Medeiros lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  It looks like Nuncio has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Medeiros lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Medeiros is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Medeiros walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Medeiros drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Nuncio is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Medeiros is looking to close the distance.  Nuncio throws a right hook, but Medeiros clinches his opponent.  Medeiros tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Nuncio behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Medeiros to stop fouling.  
Medeiros manouvers Nuncio onto the ropes.  Medeiros lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, KNOCKING NUNCIO DOWN!  The ref does not give Nuncio the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Medeiros!
