Peter Vaughan vs Gethin Apted

Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at Ice Arena, Cardiff,  taking place on 26/01/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Dave, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Peter Vaughan (4 - 0) who hails from Reading, UK and Gethin Apted(2 - 5(3)) from Birmingham, UK.  Both Vaughan and Apted weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Griffith Batton, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Gillespie, Glyn Bowen and Mark Shedden.  

Round 1: 

Apted lands a cross.  
Vaughan lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Vaughan manages to force Apted onto the ropes.  Vaughan digs in a right hook to Apted's ribcage.  Vaughan throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Vaughan connects with a right hook.  
Vaughan is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Vaughan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Apted connects with a cross.  Apted throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Apted's body.  
Vaughan closes the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Apted dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Vaughan lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Vaughan gets on the inside and manages to force Apted into the corner.  Vaughan tries to land a left hook, but Apted blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Apted throws a right uppercut, but Vaughan clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Vaughan is looking to close the distance.  Apted throws a right uppercut, but Vaughan clinches his opponent.  Vaughan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Vaughan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Apted throws a left hook, but Vaughan holds on to his opponent.  Vaughan pushes his forearm into Apted's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Vaughan about fouling.  
Vaughan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Vaughan is on target with a left hook.  
Vaughan hits home with a left hook.  
Vaughan steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Apted in a corner.  Vaughan lands a left uppercut.  
Vaughan connects with a right hook.  
Vaughan lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Apted's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Apted's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Apted's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
