Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at Liquid & Envy Nightclub, Portsmouth,  taking place on 21/01/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Matthew Linklater (3 - 0) who hails from Birmingham, UK and Robert Linklater(8 - 4(1) - 1) from London, UK.  Matthew weighed in at 125 pounds and 5 ounces, while Robert weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Addair, and the three ringside judges are Ollie Bains, Barry Keefe and James McCay.  

Round 1:

Robert pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Matthew steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Matthew steps to the outside and hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Robert's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Robert's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Robert's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
