Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 01/02/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cole Sobukwe (2 - 10 - 2) who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and Peabo Salifu(8(3) - 9(3) - 1) from Tembisa, South Africa.  Both Sobukwe and Salifu weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vuyisile Sekola, and the three ringside judges are Phumelele Mkhize, Zachary Du Toit and John Nzambi.  

Round 1: 

Salifu is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Salifu clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Salifu pushes his forearm into Sobukwe's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
