Waqar Said vs John Bakama

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Bellville Stadium, Cape Town,  taking place on 28/01/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Waqar Said (0 - 0) who hails from Dubai, UAE and John Bakama(3 - 0) from Soweto, South Africa.  Both Said and Bakama weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luvolwethu Nyatama, and the three ringside judges are Kasi Hlatshwayo, Xhosas Serero and Luvolwethu Nyatama.  

Round 1: 

Bakama steps inside.  As Said tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bakama dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bakama tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Said switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Bakama gets on the inside.  Said lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Bakama connects with a left hook.  
Said steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Bakama attempts to land a jab, but Said dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bakama steps inside.  Said connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
Said is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bakama is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  Bakama attempts to land a left hook, but Said blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Said switches the action to the outside.  Bakama throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Bakama sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Said lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Bakama gets on the inside.  Bakama retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Said tries to tag Bakama on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Said drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Bakama attempts to land a left hook, but Said blocks the shot and counters with a telling cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE BAKAMA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Bakama almost instantly gets his legs back.

Bakama steps away from his opponent.  Said lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Bakama attempts to land a jab, but Said blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Said finds the target with a solid jab.  
Said quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a solid overhand right.  
Bakama gets on the inside.  Said pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Bakama tries to land a right hook, but Said parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Said tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Said is on target with a jab.  
Bakama is looking to close the distance.  Said lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Said tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a stinging cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bakama's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Bakama's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
