Cortez Saldana vs Jake Day

Boxing Daily Report from the Dadekian Promotions promoted show at Tulsa Morris, Tulsa,  taking place on 08/02/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cortez Saldana (20(3) - 6(3)) who hails from Albuquerque, USA and Jake Day(18(12) - 1(1)) from Oklahoma City, USA.  Both Saldana and Day weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dillon Parry, and the three ringside judges are Rob Hanken, Roger Newburn and Morgan Entrikin.  

Round 1: 

Day gets on the inside.  Day sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Saldana tries to land a left hook, but Day blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.
