Mel Badilla vs Malcolm McCorquodale

Boxing Daily Report from the Dadekian Promotions promoted show at Oklahoma City McVey, Oklahoma City,  taking place on 08/02/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Badilla (10 - 11(2) - 2) who hails from Arlington, USA and Malcolm McCorquodale(8 - 10(1) - 2) from Oklahoma City, USA.  Badilla weighed in at 199 pounds and 7 ounces, while McCorquodale weighed in at 199 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Hanken, and the three ringside judges are Roger Newburn, Dave Watterson and Arthur Wallace.  

Round 1: 

McCorquodale steps to the outside.  Badilla lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Badilla steps away from his opponent and throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
