Rodrigo Saldivar vs Eloy Franca

Boxing Daily Report from the Asante Promotions promoted show at Maracaibo Rodriguez, Maracaibo,  taking place on 09/02/2045:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Zulia Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Saldivar (14 - 7(1) - 3) who hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela and Eloy Franca(7(4) - 0) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Saldivar weighed in at 118 pounds, while Franca weighed in at 118 pounds And 9 ounces.    As Franca came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Ryo Carmona, and the three ringside judges are Emilio Quiroz, Alejandro Sastre and Selestino Catalina.
