Sam Sibanda vs Sam Jongwe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Bulawayo promoted show at Bulawayo Chimbetu, Bulawayo,  taking place on 14/02/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Sibanda (8 - 9(3) - 3) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Sam Jongwe(4 - 9(2) - 4) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Sibanda and Jongwe weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jacob Chindungwe, and the three ringside judges are Kyle Chatara, Joey Shumba and David Kapinda.  

Round 1: 

Jongwe gets on the inside.  Sibanda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Jongwe throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Sibanda time to recover.  
Sibanda is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

Jongwe goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Sibanda to the neutral corner.  He warns Jongwe that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.
