Rob Gordon vs Adam Prophet

Boxing Daily Report from the FightArama promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 01/04/2045:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the New Zealand-Auckland Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Gordon (16(11) - 0) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Adam Prophet(20(1) - 1 - 1) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Gordon and Prophet weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Oakley, and the three ringside judges are Antwan Vaughan, Brin Stackpole and James Woodburn.  

Round 1: 

Gordon steps inside.  Prophet sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gordon lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Prophet almost instantly recovers. 
Prophet is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Gordon feints a jab, tricking Prophet into throwing a cross counter.  Gordon is waiting for the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Gordon advances into close range.  Gordon steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Prophet accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Gordon.
