Enzo Aristizabal vs Denton Howells

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at GAT Gym, Gaineau,  taking place on 23/02/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Enzo Aristizabal (15(13) - 0) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Denton Howells(4 - 17(2)) from Baltimore, USA.  Both Aristizabal and Howells weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Patillo, and the three ringside judges are Paul Coupland, Royal Roussel and Courvoisier Hinault.  

Round 1: 

Aristizabal lands a firm cross.  
Aristizabal advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Aristizabal clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Aristizabal pushes his forearm into Howells's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Aristizabal about fouling.  
Aristizabal manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Aristizabal drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  
Aristizabal lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Aristizabal ties up his opponent.  Aristizabal is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Aristizabal's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Howells quickly recovers. 
Aristizabal lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Aristizabal clinches his opponent.  Aristizabal uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Howells's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Aristizabal to stop fouling.  Howells quickly recovers. 
Aristizabal lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Aristizabal throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Aristizabal ties up his opponent.  Aristizabal throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Aristizabal.  
Aristizabal throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps.  Aristizabal ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Aristizabal pushes his forearm into Howells's face.  The referee warns Aristizabal and breaks the clinch.  
Aristizabal forces Howells to back into the red corner.  Aristizabal drives a right uppercut into Howells's body.  
Aristizabal steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Aristizabal clinches his opponent.  Aristizabal leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Aristizabal is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook to Howells's body.  
Aristizabal steps inside and connects with a left hook.  
Aristizabal lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Aristizabal is on target with a solid right hook.  
Aristizabal is on target with a sharp left hook to Howells's body.  
Howells connects with a cross.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Howells's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Howells's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Howells's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Aristizabal manouvers Howells into the corner.  Howells goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Aristizabal time to recover.  
Aristizabal digs in a potent left uppercut to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE HOWELLS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Howells quickly recovers. 
Aristizabal lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Howells steps inside.  Aristizabal drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Aristizabal is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  Aristizabal ties up his opponent.  Aristizabal leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Aristizabal sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Aristizabal whips in a mean left hook to Howells's liver.  HOWELLS IS HURT!  Aristizabal holds on to his opponent.  Aristizabal leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  Howells almost instantly recovers. 
Aristizabal is on target with a left hook.  As Howells tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Aristizabal.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Some sustained pressure from Aristizabal could be enough to finish Howells!  Aristizabal lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HOWELLS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Howells cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Aristizabal!
