Amer Gurmani vs Boris Kuzmich

Boxing Daily Report from the Forficula D promoted show at Daugavpils Ice Arena, Riga,  taking place on 17/02/2045:

Clearly Forficula D have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Amer Gurmani (4 - 0 - 1) who hails from Shiraz, Iran and Boris Kuzmich(3 - 0 - 1) from Kiev, Ukraine.  Both Gurmani and Kuzmich weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Georgiy Rieksts, and the three ringside judges are Kolzak Liepkalnietis, Igor Vainags and Andrii Vanags.  

Round 1: 

Gurmani lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Kuzmich quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kuzmich attempts to land a cross, but Gurmani blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Kuzmich throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gurmani advances into close range and is on target with a firm left uppercut.

Gurmani gets on the inside.  Kuzmich pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kuzmich throws a left hook, but Gurmani clinches his opponent.  Kuzmich leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gurmani throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Kuzmich time to recover.
