Seamus Burke vs Paul Condie

Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at The Apollo, Manchester,  taking place on 18/02/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Seamus Burke (3(1) - 0) who hails from Belfast, UK and Paul Condie(4 - 5(1) - 1) from Wakefield, UK.  Burke weighed in at 140 pounds, while Condie weighed in at 139 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Elliot, and the three ringside judges are George Colden, John McBride and Alun Edwards.  

Round 1: 

Burke advances into close range and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  Burke clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Burke pushes his forearm into Condie's face.  The referee warns Burke and breaks the clinch.  
Burke hits home with a right hook.  Burke holds on to his opponent.  Burke throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Burke and breaks the clinch.  
Burke is looking to close the distance and digs in a right uppercut to Condie's ribcage.  
Burke closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Burke ties up his opponent.  Burke leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Burke pushes his forearm into Condie's face.  The referee warns Burke and breaks the clinch.

Burke manouvers Condie into the corner.  Burke lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Burke ties up his opponent.  Burke is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Burke lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Burke is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Burke hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Burke is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  Burke ties up his opponent.  Burke uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Condie behind the head. The ref breaks Burke's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Burke advances into close range.  Condie throws a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Burke lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Burke lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Burke forces Condie to back into a corner.  Burke hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Burke lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Burke lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Burke senses Condie is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Burke lands two left uppercuts followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING CONDIE DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  Condie now seems to have got his legs back.

Burke walks Condie down, trapping him in a corner.  Burke lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Burke closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Burke forces Condie to retreat onto the ropes.  Burke digs in a solid left hook to Condie's ribs.  
Burke steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Burke tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Burke lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Burke clinches his opponent.  Burke leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Condie's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Condie dabs at his face checking for damage.  Condie almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Burke pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Burke lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Burke lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Burke ties up his opponent.  Burke is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Burke to stop holding.  
Burke sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Burke drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Burke lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Burke lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Condie switches the action to the outside.  Condie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Burke lands a straight 1 - 2.  Burke throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Burke is looking to close the distance and digs in a sharp left hook to Condie's liver.  Burke clinches his opponent.  Burke uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Condie behind the head. The referee warns Burke and breaks the clinch.

He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, KNOCKING CONDIE DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Burke!
