Boxing Daily Report from the Forficula D promoted show at Providence Stadium, Georgetown,  taking place on 06/05/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Guyana Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jake Bevans (9(6) - 3) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Glynn Banks(9(1) - 6(5)) from New Amsterdam, Guyana.  Both Bevans and Banks weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vince Johnstone, and the three ringside judges are Sean Lyn, Patrick Goldring and Peter Lee.  

Round 1: 

Bevans gets on the inside.  Bevans hits home with a firm right hook.  
Bevans tries to land a right uppercut, but Banks sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Bevans steps inside and is on target with a left uppercut to Banks's body.  
Bevans lands a sharp right uppercut.  
Banks lands a stinging cross.  
Bevans closes the distance.  Bevans quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Banks throws a left uppercut, but Bevans ties up his opponent.  Bevans is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Bevans pushes his forearm into Banks's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Banks attempts to land a left hook, but Bevans parries the shot and counters with a right hook.

Bevans closes the distance.  Banks throws a left hook, but Bevans clinches his opponent.  Banks is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Bevans's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Banks dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bevans feints a jab and triggers a left uppercut counter from Banks.  Bevans is waiting for the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Bevans quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Bevans attempts to land a right uppercut, but Banks blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Banks hits home with a right hook.  Bevans ties up his opponent.  Bevans leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Bevans pushes his forearm into Banks's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bevans connects with a WICKED left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE BANKS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Bevans is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Bevans lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS BANKS TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Banks now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.
