Jose Cuervo vs Angel Merino

Boxing Daily Report from the Rico Boxing promoted show at El San Juan Resort and Casino, San Juan,  taking place on 16/03/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jose Tequila Cuervo (28(4) - 1(1)) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Angel Merino(10 - 7(1) - 2) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Both Cuervo and Merino weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Mayor, and the three ringside judges are Ricardo Montemayor, Fausto Jasmin and Xaverius Rueda.
