Gregor Watters vs Patrick Hickey

Boxing Daily Report from the Leprechaun Promotions promoted show at Londonderry MacConnell, Londonderry,  taking place on 20/03/2045:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Northern Ireland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gregor Watters (7(5) - 0) who hails from Belfast, UK and Patrick Hickey(39(19) - 7(7)) from Bangor, UK.  Both Watters and Hickey weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cillian Dolan, and the three ringside judges are James McAfee, Eoin McPhee and Daniel Maguire.  

Round 1: 

Hickey sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hickey throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Watters sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Hickey goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Watters to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Hickey and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.  
Hickey pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Hickey tries to keep the action at long range.  Watters connects with a sharp cross.  
Watters steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hickey gets on the inside.  Hickey lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Watters tries to step out of his opponents range.  Hickey connects with a cross.  
Hickey walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Hickey sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Watters lands a solid cross.  
Hickey steps inside.  Watters is on target with a WICKED right hook.  HICKEY IS HURT!

Hickey walks Watters down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Hickey is on target with a right hook.

Hickey closes the distance.  Watters hits home with a firm left hook.  Watters clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Hickey pushes his forearm into Watters's face.  The ref breaks Watters's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
