Xeres Herrada vs Eloy Bocanegra

Boxing Daily Report from the Wonani Promotions promoted show at Roman Rodriquez Gym, Guayaquil,  taking place on 22/03/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xeres Herrada (5 - 10 - 2) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Eloy Bocanegra(10(2) - 1 - 1) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Herrada weighed in at 126 pounds, while Bocanegra weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Felippe Manco, and the three ringside judges are Venacio Riquelme, Hilario Granada and Rio Garcia.  

Round 1: 

Herrada gets on the inside.  Bocanegra pivots from in front of his opponent.  Herrada throws a left hook, but Bocanegra holds on to his opponent.  Bocanegra leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Bocanegra gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Herrada blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Bocanegra's body.
