John Ahunanya vs Orji Gowon

Boxing Daily Report from the Frimpong Promotions promoted show at Port Harcourt Shuaib, Port Harcourt,  taking place on 31/03/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Rivers State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Ahunanya (15 - 7 - 3) who hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria and Orji Gowon(33 - 4 - 4) from Port Harcourt, Nigeria.  Both Ahunanya and Gowon weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Adewunmi, and the three ringside judges are Alen Akika, Bature Isangedighe and Alen Akika.  

Round 1: 

Gowon closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
