Matti Vatoren vs Marlen Izkapts

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Uusimaa promoted show at Katajanokka Sports Hall, Helsinki,  taking place on 01/04/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Northern Europe Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nelonen, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matti Vatoren (31 - 19(14) - 1) who hails from Espoo, Finland and Monster Marlen Izkapts(24(19) - 9(8)) from Riga, Latvia.  Both Vatoren and Izkapts weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Erkki Hattonen, and the three ringside judges are Kaarlo Nurmela, Pekka Waisanen and Hannes Nieminen.
