Xalvador Rubio vs Mark Steen

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Bell Centre, Montreal,  taking place on 15/04/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the North American Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Super Channel, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xalvador Rubio (26(20) - 0) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Mark Steen(47(29) - 2(2)) from Port St. Lucie, USA.  Both Rubio and Steen weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Louis Gillespie, and the three ringside judges are Briant Sarraute, Michael Oliver and Donatien Auteuil.

The winner by TKO is Rubio!
