Sid McGuire vs Bob Povey

Boxing Daily Report from the Numb Nation promoted show at New Haven Acker, New Haven,  taking place on 08/04/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid Atlantic Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sid McGuire (19(7) - 7(4) - 2) who hails from Boston, USA and Bob Povey(6 - 4(1)) from Waterbury, USA.  Both McGuire and Povey weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Muncie, and the three ringside judges are John Boal, Darryl Stephen and Ian Cragg.  

Round 1: 

McGuire steps inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  
McGuire closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.
