Rodrigo Matas vs Rodrigo Abeyta

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Aragua promoted show at Guido Salamanca Gym, Maracay,  taking place on 05/04/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Aragua Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Matas (3 - 8) who hails from Maracay, Venezuela and Rodrigo Abeyta(6 - 15 - 3) from Maracay, Venezuela.  Both Matas and Abeyta weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Hernandes, and the three ringside judges are Montana Amado, Larenzo Carro and Jeraldo Galvez.

Abeyta cuts off the ring, trapping Matas on the ropes.  Abeyta connects with a left hook.
