Ian Lanman vs Kris Jones

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at A.W. Mumford Stadium, Baton Rouge,  taking place on 06/05/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ian Lanman (28(26) - 4) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Kris the Missle Jones(64(44) - 13(11) - 2) from Centennial, USA.  Both Lanman and Jones weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Duffey, and the three ringside judges are Sam Southerland, Zachary Huntley and Amon Harnois.  

Round 1: 

Lanman is looking to close the distance.  Jones connects with a left uppercut.  Jones tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lanman lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Jones throws a right hook, but Lanman clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Lanman pushes his forearm into Jones's face.  The ref breaks Lanman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lanman is on target with a cross.  Lanman attempts to land a jab, but Jones blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lanman lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Jones walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Jones lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Lanman lands a jab, left uppercut and a jab to his opponents head.  
Jones forces Lanman to back into the ropes.  Lanman lands a solid cross.  Lanman attempts to land a cross, but Jones sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Lanman lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Lanman attempts to land a jab, but Jones sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Lanman steps inside.  Jones throws a left hook, but Lanman clinches his opponent.  Lanman pushes his forearm into Jones's face.  The referee warns Lanman and breaks the clinch.  
Lanman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Lanman is on target with a right hook.  
Jones is on target with a cross.  Jones tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Lanman lands with a sharp jab.  Lanman tries to land a jab, but Jones sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Lanman hits home with a cross.  
Jones cuts off the ring, trapping Lanman on the ropes.  Jones tries to land a cross, but Lanman dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lanman is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lanman lands two straights to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Jones quickly recovers. 
Lanman gets on the inside.  Jones drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Jones lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Jones throws a left hook, but Lanman holds on to his opponent.  Jones is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lanman walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Lanman lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He then lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Lanman EXPLODES a mean left uppercut into his opponents face.  JONES IS HURT!  
Lanman is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Lanman lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS JONES SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Jones now seems to have got his legs back.  
Jones throws a left hook, but Lanman clinches his opponent.  Lanman uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Jones behind the head. 
Jones throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Lanman attempts to land a left hook, but Jones blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Jones walks Lanman onto the ropes.  Lanman throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Lanman lands a solid cross.  
Lanman connects with a firm cross.  
Lanman is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Jones throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jones's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Jones's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Lanman lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Jones quickly recovers. 
Jones attempts to land a jab, but Lanman sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Lanman lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Jones lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Lanman is looking to close the distance.  Jones pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Lanman lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Jones recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Lanman lands a spiteful jab.

Jones finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Lanman is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Jones quickly recovers. 
Jones drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Lanman hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Lanman drives a sharp right uppercut into Jones's body.  
Jones tries to land a right hook, but Lanman parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Lanman is on target with a FEROCIOUS left uppercut.  JONES HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Lanman steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS JONES DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Lanman!
