Rehman Imanov vs Iwao Kimoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Dongguan Stadium, Dongguan,  taking place on 16/04/2045:

Clearly Ringside Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Asia-Oceania Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rehman Imanov (28(22) - 2(2)) who hails from Tabriz, Iran and Iwao Kimoto(16(10) - 2(2)) from Toyonaka, Japan.  Both Imanov and Kimoto weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Qing-Nan Jo, and the three ringside judges are Yo Fan, Jun Lao and Liang Ko.  

Round 1: 

Kimoto steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Kimoto throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Imanov switches the action to the outside and is on target with an overhand left.  
Imanov tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.
