Hideki Hirata vs Joshua Kimvula

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Dongguan Stadium, Dongguan,  taking place on 16/04/2045:

Clearly Ringside Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hideki Hirata (25(18) - 2(2)) who hails from Higashiosaka, Japan and Joshua Kimvula(14(7) - 8(5)) from Umlazi, South Africa.  Both Hirata and Kimvula weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yo Fan, and the three ringside judges are Qing-Nan Jo, Jun Lao and Liang Ko.  

Round 1: 

Hirata feints a right, and then lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kimvula quickly recovers. 
Kimvula walks Hirata down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kimvula lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Hirata is on target with a right hook to Kimvula's body.  
Kimvula drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  Kimvula tries to land a left uppercut, but Hirata blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Hirata lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kimvula is looking to close the distance and forces Hirata to retreat into a corner.  Hirata is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Hirata tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kimvula closes the distance.  Hirata lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kimvula forces Hirata to retreat onto the ropes.  Kimvula sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hirata lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kimvula dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Hirata sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a telling left hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE KIMVULA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Hirata is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Hirata lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES KIMVULA!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Kimvula has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Hirata attempts to land a jab, but Kimvula sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Kimvula gets on the inside.  Hirata digs in a firm left hook to Kimvula's body.  
Kimvula forces Hirata to back into the ropes.  Hirata hits home with a right hook.  
Hirata is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kimvula gets on the inside.  Hirata pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a sharp left hook into Kimvula's body.  
Hirata tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a cross.  
Hirata feints a right hook, and then throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kimvula is looking to close the distance.  Hirata pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Hirata lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Kimvula gets on the inside.  Hirata digs in a weighty left hook to his opponents body.  KIMVULA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Kimvula recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
