Rehman Yasin vs Obaid Rafiq

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Yemen-Aden promoted show at Aden Boulos, Aden,  taking place on 09/04/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Yemen-Aden Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rehman Yasin (10 - 11(6) - 4) who hails from Aden, Yemen and Obaid Rafiq(10(4) - 5 - 1) from Aden, Yemen.  Both Yasin and Rafiq weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amjad Alsamarrai, and the three ringside judges are Haaris Allaf, Rashid Ebrahim and Rehman Younis.  

Round 1: 

Rafiq is looking to close the distance.  Rafiq pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Yasin steps to the outside.  Rafiq lands a sharp jab.  
Rafiq strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Yasin steps to the outside.  Rafiq lands a solid cross.  
Rafiq lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rafiq manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Rafiq is on target with a firm right hook.  
Rafiq hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Rafiq lands with a sharp jab.  
Rafiq pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Rafiq steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Rafiq lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Yasin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Yasin is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Rafiq finds the target with a jab.  
Rafiq connects with a cross.  
Rafiq advances into close range and manages to force Yasin into the corner.  Rafiq is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Rafiq sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a sharp cross to his opponents body.  
Rafiq switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Rafiq connects with a firm overhand right.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Yasin's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Yasin's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Round 2: 

Rafiq tries to keep the action at long range.  Rafiq sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Yasin throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Rafiq gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rafiq lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Yasin quickly recovers. 
Rafiq connects with a cross.  
Rafiq walks Yasin down, trapping him on the ropes.  Rafiq feints a left, and then hits home with a solid cross.  
Rafiq advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Rafiq pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Rafiq is on target with a cross.  
Rafiq is looking to close the distance.  Rafiq pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two right uppercut's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Rafiq steps to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Yasin sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Rafiq SLAMS a big overhand right into his opponents face.  YASIN IS HURT!  
Rafiq senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Rafiq lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, KNOCKING YASIN DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Rafiq!
