Cortez Mare vs Diego Velo

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Arena México, Mexico City,  taking place on 27/05/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Azteca, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cortez Mare (36(27) - 3(2) - 1) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Diego Velo(19(4) - 10(2) - 2) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Both Mare and Velo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aimon Negron, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Roxas, Neper Arguijo and Yago Corea.  

Round 1:

Round 2: 

Mare sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Velo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mare lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Mare lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Velo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Velo hits home with a cross.  
Mare gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Velo lands a sharp jab.

Mare throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Velo forces Mare to retreat onto the ropes.  Velo is on target with a firm cross.

Mare sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Velo feints a cross, and then lands a right hook.  
Velo throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mare gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Velo lands a firm cross.
