Ewan Bennie vs John Tinlin

Boxing Daily Report from the Varun Bhat promoted show at Kieran Smolak Gym, Joliet,  taking place on 12/04/2045:

Clearly Varun Bhat have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ewan Bennie (4 - 3 - 2) who hails from Chicago, USA and John Tinlin(11 - 35(5) - 5) from Chicago, USA.  Bennie weighed in at 199 pounds and 8 ounces, while Tinlin weighed in at 199 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rex McNiven, and the three ringside judges are Barry Anderson, Matt Preddy and Sam Touch.  

Round 1: 

Tinlin closes the distance.  Bennie sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Bennie throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Tinlin time to recover.  
Tinlin steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Bennie tries to tag Tinlin on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Bennie connects with a cross.  
Bennie sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Tinlin is on target with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tinlin's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Tinlin's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Bennie is looking to close the distance and digs in a right uppercut to Tinlin's body.  
Tinlin tries to land a jab, but Bennie slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Bennie advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Bennie lands a left uppercut.
