Atif Sabbag vs Rashid Nassif

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jordan-Zarqa promoted show at Yasin Saleeby Gym, Russeifa,  taking place on 16/04/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Jordan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on JTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Atif Sabbag (10 - 12(2) - 3) who hails from Zarqa, Jordan and Rashid Nassif(3(1) - 1) from Amman, Jordan.  Both Sabbag and Nassif weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Abdul, and the three ringside judges are Umair Ben, Shayan Nader and Shayan Nader.  

Round 1: 

Sabbag pivots to the right of his opponent andNassif wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sabbag dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sabbag throws a left uppercut, but Nassif holds on to his opponent.  Nassif leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Nassif is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nassif.  
Nassif is looking to close the distance and walks Sabbag down, trapping him on the ropes.  Nassif digs in a solid left hook to Sabbag's liver.
