Hypnos Caras vs Jan Bykowski

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Kingston Park Stadium, Newcastle,  taking place on 13/05/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Hypnos Caras (15(12) - 0) who hails from Athens, Greece and Jan Bykowski(15 - 10(4) - 2) from Katowice, Poland.  Both Caras and Bykowski weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bob Clyde, and the three ringside judges are Hayden McPherson, Russell Gwilym and Mick MacNaughton.  

Round 1: 

Caras sidesteps to the left of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Caras steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Caras tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Caras lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Bykowski throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Caras steps to the outside.  Caras feints a cross, and then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Caras lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Caras lands a jab.  
Caras sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a jab followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Bykowski recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Caras sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Caras is looking to keep his distance.  Caras feints a left hook, but Bykowski ignores the feint and responds with a right hook.  
Caras quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Caras lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Caras lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Bykowski attempts to land a jab, but Caras slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Caras steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Caras feints a jab, and then lands a stinging overhand left.  
Caras lands two jab's to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Caras lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Caras sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Bykowski tries to land a jab, but Caras blocks the shot and counters with a CRUSHING left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE BYKOWSKI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Bykowski recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Bykowski tries to keep the action at long range.  Caras feints a left hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bykowski's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Bykowski's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Bykowski's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Caras lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Bykowski almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Caras feints a cross, but Bykowski does not fall for it and responds with a cross.  
Caras lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands an overhand right to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Caras is on target with an overhand right.  
Caras lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Caras quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bykowski pivots to the side of his opponent.  Caras lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Caras hits the target with a hard jab.  
Caras stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Bykowski attempts to land a cross, but Caras slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Caras lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Caras strikes his opponents body with a firm jab.  
Caras steps inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Bykowski blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Caras lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Bykowski tries to step out of his opponents range.  Caras lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Caras attempts to land a jab, but Bykowski slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Caras's ribcage.  
Caras lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Caras lands with a solid jab.  
Caras sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Caras switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Caras senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Bykowski and just needs the right shot.  Caras lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head, AND BYKOWSKI IS DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Caras!
