Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Ponce promoted show at Ponce Rosete, Ponce,  taking place on 01/05/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Puerto Rico-Ponce Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xeres Santistevan (26 - 10(2) - 1) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Cuba Resendiz(4 - 3) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Santistevan weighed in at 125 pounds And 10 ounces, while Resendiz weighed in at 126 pounds.
