Boxing Daily Report from the Vortex Boxing promoted show at Riga Jaunozols, Riga,  taking place on 22/05/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Latvia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat Sport Baltic, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dimi Akmenkalns (9(5) - 0) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Afon Leja(9(1) - 6 - 1) from Riga, Latvia.  Both Akmenkalns and Leja weighed in at 154 pounds.
