Cuba Cruz vs Josh Croskey

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at LIV Nightclub, Miami,  taking place on 23/05/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cuba Cruz (18(16) - 1(1)) who hails from Arequipa, Peru and Josh Croskey(2 - 2) from San Francisco, USA.  Both Cruz and Croskey weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Davie Riquelme, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Guffy, Ora Danon and Vicente Monarrez.  

Round 1: 

Cruz tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Croskey tries to land a cross, but Cruz parries the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.

Cruz EXPLODES a spiteful left uppercut into his opponents face.  CROSKEY IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  It looks like Croskey has now recovered from that shot earlier.
