Zach Flynn vs Gareth McCard

Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at City Hall, Belfast,  taking place on 26/05/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Zach Flynn (8 - 0) who hails from Bangor, UK and Gareth McCard(6 - 7(1) - 4) from Bury, UK.  Both Flynn and McCard weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clint Guild, and the three ringside judges are Rory Mulrennan, James McAfee and Anthony McCabe.  

Round 1: 

Flynn closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Flynn lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Flynn steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Flynn advances into close range.  Flynn lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Flynn wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McCard dabs at his face checking for damage.  McCard has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
McCard steps away from his opponent and hits home with an overhand right.  
McCard manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Flynn lands a left hook.
