Callum Ovens vs Arthur Creighton

Boxing Daily Report from the Skol Promotions promoted show at Waitakere Mollison, Waitakere,  taking place on 30/05/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Callum Ovens (3(3) - 1) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Arthur Creighton(7 - 10(2) - 5) from North Shore, New Zealand.  Both Ovens and Creighton weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Patariki, and the three ringside judges are Matthew Chisholm, Kyle Stine and Corey Patteson.  

Round 1: 

Ovens is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ovens manages to force Creighton into the corner.  Ovens digs in a stinging right hook to Creighton's ribcage.  Ovens holds on to his opponent.  Ovens is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ovens to stop fouling.

Ovens digs in a firm right uppercut to Creighton's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE CREIGHTON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ovens clinches his opponent.  Ovens leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Ovens to stop holding.  Creighton quickly recovers.

Ovens lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Creighton quickly recovers.

Ovens lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES CREIGHTON!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Creighton quickly recovers. 
Ovens is on target with a stinging left hook to Creighton's ribs.  
Ovens walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ovens drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Ovens lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
It looks like Creighton has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Ovens steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Ovens whips in a hurtful left hook to Creighton's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE CREIGHTON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Creighton recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Ovens knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Ovens lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING CREIGHTON DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Ovens forces Creighton to back into the ropes.  Ovens connects with a hurtful left hook.  CREIGHTON IS DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Ovens!
