Irfan Zaki vs Thompson Akonobi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ofosu-Ayeh Promotions promoted show at Vince Datong Gym, Kano,  taking place on 01/06/2045:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Irfan Zaki (3 - 6 - 1) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Thompson Akonobi(3 - 9) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Zaki and Akonobi weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Adebola, and the three ringside judges are Josh Ladipo, Obafemi Olayinka and Lukman Aderemi.

Akonobi advances into close range and hits home with a right uppercut.
