Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing 3.0 promoted show at Pretoria De Waal, Pretoria,  taking place on 30/05/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Van der Merwe (1(1) - 0) who hails from Soshanguve, South Africa and Paul Theron(7 - 8(3)) from Soweto, South Africa.  Both Van der Merwe and Theron weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Pienaar, and the three ringside judges are Mzikayise Tlolane, Dillon Strydom and Peter Oosthuizen.
