Rio Placido vs James Eccles

Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Marlins Park, Miami,  taking place on 18/07/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rio Placido (7(1) - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic and James Eccles(2 - 0) from Chicago, USA.  Both Placido and Eccles weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Merrick, and the three ringside judges are Cole Ghant, Fanuco Villarrubia and Emanuel Merlo.  

Round 1: 

Placido sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a stiff jab.

Placido feints a right, and then snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.

Eccles attempts to land a cross, but Placido sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Placido is looking to close the distance.  Placido is looking to force the stoppage!  Placido lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS ECCLES SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Placido!
