Montel Resendez vs Berto Villafane

Boxing Daily Report from the South American Boxing Association promoted show at Santiago de los Caba Camino, Santiago de los Caballeros,  taking place on 14/06/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montel Resendez (36(1) - 10(4)) who hails from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic and Berto Villafane(25 - 20 - 1) from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.  Resendez weighed in at 130 pounds, while Villafane weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Juan Minjarez, and the three ringside judges are Ivan Laris, Xaverius Alonso and Guillermo Garzon.
