Michael Cowden vs Connor Reid

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at AAMI Park, Melbourne,  taking place on 24/06/2045:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michael Cowden (21(1) - 5(3) - 3) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Connor Reid(16(16) - 4(3)) from Perth, Australia.  Cowden weighed in at 154 pounds, while Reid weighed in at 153 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Kissick, and the three ringside judges are Blake Lapshin, Johnny Elias and Ian Espy.  

Round 1:
