Leupold Sautner vs Burkhart Plemmons

Boxing Daily Report from the Punch Drunk Promotions promoted show at Dortmund Almendinger, Dortmund,  taking place on 22/06/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-North Rhine-Westphalia Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leupold Sautner (6 - 5(1) - 2) who hails from Dortmund, Germany and Burkhart Plemmons(16(12) - 1(1)) from Dortmund, Germany.  Both Sautner and Plemmons weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Maik Daub, and the three ringside judges are Otho Henige, Andreas Strebe and Wilfredo Schaich.  

Round 1: 

Plemmons advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Sautner is looking to keep his distance.  Plemmons connects with a cross.  
Sautner throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Plemmons dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Plemmons.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
