Owen Jones vs Mark Numa

Boxing Daily Report from the PP Promotions promoted show at The Apollo, Manchester,  taking place on 24/06/2045:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Owen Jones (1(1) - 0) who hails from Manchester, UK and Mark Numa(6 - 8(3) - 2) from London, UK.  Jones weighed in at 118 pounds, while Numa weighed in at 117 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Irwin, and the three ringside judges are Ronald McCauley, Robert Llewellyn and Billy Kallis.  

Round 1: 

Jones advances into close range.  Jones pivots to the side of his opponent.  Jones is on target with a solid left hook.  Jones ties up his opponent.  Jones is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Jones is looking to close the distance.  Jones whips in a spiteful left hook to Numa's ribs.  NUMA IS HURT!  Jones wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Numa dabs at his face checking for damage.  Numa almost instantly recovers.

Jones throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Jones ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Jones pushes his forearm into Numa's face.  The referee warns Jones and breaks the clinch.  
Jones pivots to the right of his opponent.  Jones lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Jones holds on to his opponent.  Jones leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Jones's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Jones steps inside and tries to land a left uppercut, but Numa sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Jones's body.  
Jones lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Jones hits home with a stinging left hook.  Jones ties up his opponent.  Jones leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Jones is on target with a right uppercut to Numa's ribcage.
