Ian Bagudu vs Umair Yusuf

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Delta State promoted show at Protea Hotel Delta, Warri,  taking place on 01/07/2045:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Delta State Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Bagudu (2 - 16(1) - 1) who hails from Warri, Nigeria and Umair Yusuf(7 - 0) from Sapele, Nigeria.  Bagudu weighed in at 159 pounds and 8 ounces, while Yusuf weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tunde Bazuaye, and the three ringside judges are Denton Bajah, Lordson Aduda and Bature Afolayan.  

Round 1: 

Yusuf leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Bagudu is whaling away with hooks, but Yusuf keeps his defence tight.  Bagudu lands a cross.
