Sam Clowney vs Desiderio Ruano

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Guyana-North promoted show at Guyana ICC, Georgetown,  taking place on 02/08/2045:

Clearly AI Guyana-North have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a tournament fight from Guyana Open.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NCN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Clowney (8(3) - 3(2) - 1) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Desiderio Ruano(4 - 24 - 3 - 1(NC)) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Clowney and Ruano weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Renton, and the three ringside judges are Sean Ogilvie, Paul Gilliland and Mark Firth.  

Round 1: 

Clowney is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Ruano throws a left hook, but Clowney clinches his opponent.  Clowney is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Clowney about fouling.

Ruano's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Ruano's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Ruano's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Ruano is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Clowney hits home with a cross.
