Dierick Peeters vs Satch Beaumier

Boxing Daily Report from the Dorian promoted show at Palais des Congrès de Liège - Salle Reine Elisabeth, Liege,  taking place on 14/07/2045:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belgium Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport10, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dierick Peeters (4(2) - 3(3)) who hails from Antwerp, Belgium and Satch Beaumier(10 - 13 - 6) from Charleroi, Belgium.  Both Peeters and Beaumier weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Borden Claude, and the three ringside judges are Audric Luna, Marvel Bobet and Valeray Dombasle.  

Round 1: 

Peeters is looking to close the distance.  Beaumier throws a right hook, but Peeters ties up his opponent.  Peeters is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Peeters and breaks the clinch.  
Beaumier steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Peeters dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Peeters pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Beaumier walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Peeters lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Peeters finds the target with a jab.  
Beaumier tries to land a jab, but Peeters blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Beaumier attempts to land a left hook, but Peeters blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Peeters steps inside and lands a right hook.  
Peeters gets on the inside.  Peeters pivots to the left of his opponent.  Peeters lands a right uppercut.  Peeters holds on to his opponent.  Peeters leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Peeters's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Peeters lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Peeters wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Beaumier dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Peeters closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Peeters sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Peeters pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a firm left uppercut.

Peeters lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Beaumier sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Beaumier throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Peeters lands with a solid jab.  
Peeters closes the distance.  Beaumier attempts to land a right hook, but Peeters sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Peeters steps inside.  Peeters sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Peeters gets on the inside.  Peeters sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Beaumier steps to the outside and connects with an overhand left.  
Peeters is looking to close the distance and forces Beaumier to back into a corner.  Peeters pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a potent right hook to Beaumier's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE BEAUMIER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Beaumier almost instantly recovers.

Peeters pivots to the side of his opponent and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!

He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES BEAUMIER!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Peeters lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, DROPPING BEAUMIER TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Beaumier has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Beaumier pivots to the side of his opponent.  Peeters lands a straight 1 - 2.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Beaumier quickly recovers.

Beaumier is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Peeters sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a firm cross.  
Peeters steps inside and whips in a mean left hook to Beaumier's body.  BEAUMIER IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Peeters forces Beaumier to back into the corner.  Peeters lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Peeters holds on to his opponent.  Peeters leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Peeters's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
