Ebi Boamponsem vs John Verwoerd

Boxing Daily Report from the Eghenyan Promotions promoted show at East London Coetzee, East London,  taking place on 15/07/2045:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ebi Snake Boamponsem (31(17) - 11(7)) who hails from Soshanguve, South Africa and John Verwoerd(7(2) - 4(3)) from East London, South Africa.  Boamponsem weighed in at 129 pounds and 10 ounces, while Verwoerd weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Udenwa Kpegah, and the three ringside judges are Rob Mthethwa, Rob Tshiepela and Clint Mambweni.
